Etosha National Park – The centrepiece of this National Park is the 5000 km2 Etosha Pan. This massive salt flat, together with the surrounding open plains and sporadic dense bush, makes a habitat for a diverse range of animal and bird life including springbok, oryx, rhino, elephant, giraffe, jackal and lion. While the birdlife includes ground hornbill, kori bustard and even flamingo!
